Cosmos Language School – International Educational Services Agreement

Welcome to Cosmos Language School! These Terms & Conditions („Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, platform, and premium online 1:1 language mentoring and instructional services. By purchasing a lesson package or registering an account, you (referred to as „Client”, „User”, or „Parent/Guardian” if purchasing for a minor) agree to be bound by these Terms.

Our services are operated by Katarzyna Pietrzyk, conducting individual business activities under the registered trade name Katarzyna Pietrzyk, with its registered seat at ul. Grzybowska 39/1218, 00-855 Warsaw, Poland. Tax Identification Number (NIP): 5060103172, REGON: 527015120. Email: languagecosmos@gmail.com (referred to as „Cosmos Language School”, „we”, or „us”), pending formal transition to a United States LLC framework.

1. Scope of Services & Account Registration

• Educational Scope: Cosmos Language School provides premium 1:1 online language instruction delivered by expert mentors. Services are available for adults, teenagers, and children.
• Account Responsibility: To schedule and access lessons, Users must register an account or provide valid operational information. All information provided must be accurate and updated. If the ultimate student is a minor under the age of 18, a Parent or Legal Guardian must complete the purchase and accept these Terms on behalf of the minor.

2. Investment, Packages, and Currency Policy

We support absolute price transparency. Clients can choose to display and settle fees directly in Euro (EUR) or United States Dollars (USD). Prices are fixed based on the selected currency asset and do not fluctuate based on dynamic bank exchange rates. All languages carry identical premium pricing formats.

1. Lessons for Adults (1:1 Premium Mentoring)

• Single Trial & Custom Sessions: Single Session (45 min): €35 / $40 | Single Session (55 min): €39 / $45. Promotional codes may be provided at our discretion for the initial trial lesson and are restricted to one-time usage per customer account.
• Standard Sessions (45 Minutes): Kickstart (5 lessons): €160 / $185 | Momentum (10 lessons): €290 / $340 | Mastery (20 lessons): €520 / $620.
• Power Sessions (55 Minutes): Kickstart (5 lessons): €175 / $200 | Momentum (10 lessons): €320 / $370 | Mastery (20 lessons): €580 / $680.

1. Lessons for Kids & Teens (1:1 Young Explorers)

• Single Trial & Custom Sessions: Single Session (30 min): €30 / $35 | Single Session (45 min): €35 / $40. These sessions are intended for evaluation or casual scheduling. Promotional codes for trial modifications are strictly limited to one-time usage per student account.
• Language Discovery (30 Minutes – Ages 5–8): Launchpad (5 lessons): €130 / $150 | Mission (10 lessons): €240 / $280 | Journey (20 lessons): €440 / $520.
• Language Expedition (45 Minutes – Older Children/Teens): Launchpad (5 lessons): €160 / $185 | Mission (10 lessons): €290 / $340 | Journey (20 lessons): €520 / $620.

1. Package Validity & Expiration Policy

To maintain educational momentum and structure organizational scheduling, all bought lesson bundles carry a strict expiration timeline from the date of initial purchase:

• 5-Class and 10-Class Bundles: Valid for exactly three (3) calendar months from purchase.
• 20-Class Bundles: Valid for exactly six (6) calendar months from purchase.

Any lesson units remaining unscheduled or unused after the respective expiration period will automatically lapse and become void. No extensions or financial adjustments are authorized for expired units.

3. Strict Attendance, Rescheduling, and No-Show Rules

Our mentors allocate specific operational slots exclusively for your customized development. To ensure structural balance, we enforce an absolute attendance framework:

• The 24-Hour Rule: Clients possess the right to cancel or reschedule a scheduled session by providing a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours advance notice through our authorized platform infrastructure or support email. If notice is given under 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time, the session will be fully charged and deducted from the client’s bundle quota.
• Late Arrivals & No-Shows: If a student fails to enter the online instructional platform at the scheduled start time, the mentor will remain active online waiting for exactly fifteen (15) minutes. If the student connects within this 15-minute window, the lesson will proceed for the remaining duration of the original slot. If the student fails to join within 15 minutes, the session is categorized as a No-Show, the mentor will log off, and the session is fully deducted from the bundle.

4. Secure Payment Processing & Global Refunds

• Secure Billing: All billing activities are managed via secure, encrypted international payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). Cosmos Language School never captures or retains your financial credentials.
• EU Right of Withdrawal (Fourteen-Day Rule): In accordance with EU consumer legislation, clients residing within the European Economic Area (EEA) possess a statutory right to withdraw from this agreement within fourteen (14) days from purchase, provided no lessons have been commenced. If lessons have begun within this timeframe upon the client’s request, the value of consumed lessons will be strictly deducted from the returned balance.
• General Refund Restraints: Except for the statutory EU consumer withdrawal mandate, all bundle purchases are final and non-refundable. If extraordinary personal emergencies occur, refunds or package suspensions may be considered on a strictly case-by-case basis at our sole corporate discretion, subject to a 15% administrative and processing fee deducted from the remaining unconsumed balance.

5. Technical Requirements & Service Interruptions

• Client Infrastructure: Clients are solely responsible for securing a reliable high-speed internet connection, functional audio/video peripherals (microphone and webcam), and access to the designated live conference tool (e.g., Google Meet). Technical difficulties on the client’s end do not entitle the client to a complimentary replacement session or refund if the session is disrupted.
• Mentor Interruption: If a session cannot be delivered or completed due to technical or medical emergencies impacting the Cosmos Language School mentor, the session will not be lost. Cosmos Language School will promptly re-credit the lesson unit to the client’s balance or schedule a replacement session at a mutually convenient alternate time.

6. Intellectual Property & Code of Conduct

• Intellectual Property: All educational files, customized curriculums, creative materials, and digital assets shared during instructional sessions remain the exclusive intellectual property of Cosmos Language School and its licensors. Unauthorized commercial recording, reproduction, or international distribution of materials is strictly prohibited.
• Code of Conduct: We expect mutual respect. Any discriminatory behavior, toxic conduct, harassment, or inappropriate communication during sessions towards mentors or staff will cause immediate termination of the client’s account and forfeiture of remaining bundle balances without compensation.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Until formal structural implementation of the United States corporate entity occurs, these Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence. Any formal legal claims or disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Warsaw, Poland.
